  • Your Experience Abroad is a student-focused bedding and linen rental service. We help international and exchange
    students arrive stress-free by providing ready-to-use bedding kits that can be rented or purchased and delivered
    directly to their new home. However, we also welcome non-international students to order, especially if you are from
    out-of-state and you are looking for a simple solution for your essentials.

  • Each kit includes essentials like a comforter, 2 fitted sheet, 2 duvet covers, 2 pillow, 4 pillowcase, and a towel set.
    You can customize your kit with extras like a mattress protector, laundry bag, or an additional pillow with our add-
    ons.

  • At the moment, we offer neutral, cozy styles that match any dorm or apartment so you can use our kits as a blank canvas.

    We do offer however, the option for you to choose the appropriate bed size so that your beddings match your bed type

  • All of our kits have only brand new items.

Purchase FAQ

  • Yes! When you purchase a kit, all items are 100% new and yours to keep. They come sealed, clean, and ready to
    use.

  • Each kit includes essentials like a comforter, 2 fitted sheet, 2 duvet covers, 2 pillow, 4 pillowcase, and a towel set.
    You can customize your kit with extras like a mattress protector, laundry bag, or an additional pillow with our add-
    ons.

  • All of our kits are made for Twin or Full/Queen beds, which are the most common sizes in U.S. college dorms and apartments.

Rental FAQ

  • You can rent for as little as 2 months or as long as 2 semesters.

    You can also extend or switch to buying your kit later if needed.

  • You can convert your rental into a purchase anytime—just pay the difference between the rental cost and the purchase price.

  • No need! We handle all the laundry and sanitization after pickup. Just pack everything back into the provided bag.

  • Small stains or normal wear can happen.

    If something is badly damaged or missing, we will charge a partial
    replacement fee. We’ll always reach out first.

  • If we don’t receive your kit within 7 days after your rental end date, we’ll send 1 reminder. After 14 days, your rental will be converted to a purchase and charged at the retail price minus what you’ve already paid. Payments and Pricing FAQ

  • We do charge a security deposit for anyone renting the kits to ensure that the kit will be well taken care of. We
    would only keep the deposit if the kit is not returned on time or items are missing/broken.

  • All the kits, whether you are renting or buying, must be paid in full.

  • Yes, all local and state taxes are included in the displayed prices because we know how confusing the taxes can
    be.
