What Bedding Do You Need for a U.S. College Dorm?
One of the most confusing parts of moving to the United States can be figuring out what size bed you'll have.
Many U.S. college residence halls use Twin XL mattresses, but bed sizes can vary between universities, residence halls and apartments. Always check your university's housing information before ordering.
For a typical Twin XL dorm bed, you may need:
Twin XL fitted sheets
Pillows
Pillowcases
A duvet or comforter
Duvet covers
A mattress protector
Blankets or other bedding depending on the climate
Moving into an apartment? You may need a Full, Full XL or Queen instead.

You can join our app now, but some features will only be accessible if your university joins. If you want to have access to more features, you can also forward our university one-pager to your international office to request that they partner with us.
