1. Overview

Your Experience Abroad (“we”, “our”, “the Company”) provides bedding and bathroom linen kits for international students. By placing an order on our website, the customer (“you”, “the student”) agrees to the following Policies & Sales Conditions.

2. Products & Pricing

2.1 Product Description

We strive to provide accurate product descriptions. Minor variations in size, color, or material may occur depending on supplier availability. In all cases, product quality remains consistent with what is advertised.

2.2 Pricing

All prices displayed:

  • Include taxes

  • Include free delivery (to available pickup locations or selected campuses)

  • Are listed in USD or CAD depending on your region

We reserve the right to update prices and product bundles at any time.

3. Orders & Payment

3.1 Order Confirmation

An order is considered confirmed once payment has been successfully processed. You will receive an email confirmation immediately.

3.2 Accepted Payment Methods

  • Credit & debit cards

  • Apple Pay / Google Pay

  • PayPal (if enabled)

3.3 Pre-Orders

If you purchase before the semester starts:

  • Your kit is guaranteed and reserved for you

  • Delivery occurs on the date communicated for your campus or pickup location

4. Delivery & Pickup

4.1 Delivery Options

We offer:

  • Campus delivery (when available)

  • Home delivery (in select cities; fees may apply)

4.2 Delivery Times

Standard delivery: 2–5 business days once your order is processed.

Pre-semester orders follow the designated move-in schedule for your school.

4.3 Delivery Delays

We are not liable for delays caused by:

  • Carriers

  • Weather

  • Force majeure events

We will always do our best to keep you informed.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

5.1 Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your order:

  • Up to 72 hours before delivery/pickup → full refund

  • After the 72-hour window → 30% restocking fee applies

5.2 Refund Eligibility

Refunds are issued when:

  • You cancel within the allowed window

  • An item arrives defective

  • You received the wrong item

  • You have issues at the borders

Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.

5.3 Non-Refundable Items

  • Kits already delivered or picked up

  • Used linens

  • Personalized or custom requests

6. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for:

  • Defective items

  • Incorrect sizes or items delivered by mistake

To request an exchange:

  1. Email us within 7 days of delivery

  2. Attach a photo of the issue

  3. We will confirm your replacement and pickup instructions

7. Quality Guarantee

We guarantee that all products are:

  • New

  • Packed in sealed packaging

If you are unsatisfied, contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can assist you.

8. Liability

We are not responsible for:

  • Misuse of products

  • Allergic reactions to detergents or materials

  • Delays caused by third-party carriers

  • Losses due to inaccurate delivery information provided by the customer

9. Privacy & Data Protection

We only collect information necessary for:

  • Processing your order

  • Delivery and communication

  • Account management

We do not sell or share your information with third parties except service providers involved in fulfilling your order.
